Regional leads

Scott is a recent member of the club, joined at the beginning of 2024, but a longtime lover of Mustangs. His first encounter was learning to drive a stick shift on his father’s 1984 Mustang GT 5spd. Having mastered the 5spd in an hour his father gave him the keys for the summer. Later he married his wife who came as a package deal with a wonderful 1968 Mustang which was quickly accompanied by a 1989 Mustang GT 5spd as my first new car. As children came onto the scene, the shift to family friendly cars took precedence over muscle and coolness.

After 30 years of pining away to get back into a “fun” car a brand new 2024 Mustang GT Premium “Bad Betty” proudly sits in a place of honor – the garage. With new found financial freedom (children grown, “off the books” and on their own) these two kids (again) are ready for the next show, cruise night, drive through the country or youthful drop of the hammer on the gas peddle.
