Gene Hubert (#252) became a member of Mustangs of Mass in 2015. In 2019, he was named Race Ambassador and charged with bringing his passion of racing to the club. He will be making track events for all MoM members to participate in and bring their cars to the dragstrip. At a very early age Mustangs and drag racing have been a significant part of Gene’s life. From watching his first race at 3 years old at Bandimere Raceway in Colorado to buying (and still owning) his first foxbody Mustang at age 15, racing and Mustangs will continue to be a part of who he is. Now let’s get ready to race!

Brad, a lifelong MA resident and third generation Mustang enthusiast who grew up in Western MA, born in the Berkshires owns a ‘66 Coupe and ‘92 foxbody LX convertible. His ‘66 was gifted by his Grandfather, when he was just 15 years old as a father and son project. His grandfather owned a ‘67 coupe V8 in highland green with a rare front bench seat which he passed down to his father. It was too rusty so he sold it and it is believed that the last owner crushed it. His Father owned many first generation Mustangs including convertibles. Back then they were just considered old cars not as special as they have become today..especially fastbacks. His grandfather owned several foxbodys after his retirement. He still remembers the thrill of his first ride in a foxbody with his Grandfather.
He currently resides in Walpole with his wife and two children. He is still working on getting his ‘66 roadworthy little by little in his spare time. It has evolved into a tasteful restomod.
